Many of them were acting as mentors to the mini-celebs and young pros of “Dancing With the Stars Jr.,” which debuts Sunday, Oct. 7. The DWTS Jr. shows were all pre-taped since the kids (13 was the cut-off age) had to return to school in the fall. The pro/mentors worked on the Jr. show for July and August, and then shifted into two weeks of rehearsals with their DWTS celebs. Whew.
